Synopsis: Sweet Munchies
“Sweet Munchies” tells the story of a man who starts to lie to get money while pushing the woman he loves into a corner and hurts a man who has come to love him for the same lie.
Park Jin Sung runs a strange little restaurant late at night where customers only choose which drinks they want and their entrees are chosen by Park who adapt the dishes to their drinks. His goal is to provide guests with warmth and comfort through delicious food and excellent customer service. Watching customers enjoy their food also gives him a great deal of happiness. At the urging of one of his regular customers, Park becomes the host of a new variety show called Midnight Snack Couple, shooting him for popularity and notoriety.
Regular customer Kim Ah Jin is a passionate PD. She usually has a smile on her face and always looks on the positive side. Her optimism is matched only by her love of food and drink. After years of hard work as a crew member in production teams, she finally gets her break from PD when she convinces Park Jin Sung to become the host of her TV show.
Kang Tae Wan is a successful fashion designer. He organizes his own fashion TV program and gets to know Park Jin Sung and Kim Ah Jin when he is brought to the variety show Midnight Snack Couple as a stylist for Park. As the three work together, they eventually become involved in an atypical love triangle.
